Orly sits about 50 km south-west of Disneyland® Paris — roughly an hour by road. Unlike Charles de Gaulle, there is no direct train, which changes the calculation entirely.
| Option | Journey time | Changes | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer | ≈ 1 hour | None — door to door | Must be booked ahead |
| Orlyval + RER B + RER A | ≈ 1 h 45 | Two, including Châtelet–Les Halles | The longest option, with stairs and crowds at Châtelet |
| Magical Shuttle bus | ≈ 1 h 15 or more | None, but several hotel stops | Fixed departures; a late flight means waiting for the next one |
| Taxi or ride-hailing | ≈ 1 hour | None | Metered or surge pricing, queue at arrivals, no flight tracking |
Because there is no rail link, the real choice at Orly is between the shuttle bus and a private car. The shuttle is cheaper; the car removes the waiting and takes you to your hotel door.

Orly is organised into Orly 1, 2, 3 and 4, each with its own arrivals hall. We confirm the correct hall from your flight number and send the meeting point by SMS before you land.
The A86 carries most of the traffic between Orly and Marne-la-Vallée. Landing between 5 pm and 8 pm can add twenty minutes — the fixed fare does not change for it.
Your flight is tracked in real time and the pickup shifts automatically, with 60 minutes of waiting included from actual landing — no call needed, no surcharge.
Three names come up when people plan this journey, and they are not interchangeable. The most common mistake is booking the wrong one for where you are actually arriving.
This is Disney's own coach, and the first thing to know is that it leaves from central Paris — not from the airports. Pick-up points are city-centre locations, departures follow a fixed timetable, and park admission is usually bundled into the ticket.
If you are landing at an airport with luggage, it does not solve your problem: you would still have to reach central Paris first, find the pick-up point, then wait for the departure. For visitors already staying in Paris and travelling light, it is a reasonable option.
This one does serve the airports. It is a shared coach that collects passengers at CDG and Orly and calls at the Disneyland hotels in turn. The fare is low, which is its whole point.
What you trade for the price is time and certainty: departures follow the coach timetable rather than your flight, the vehicle fills before it leaves, and your hotel may be the last of several stops. With small children after a long flight, that final hour is the one people remember.
One vehicle, your family only, leaving when you clear customs rather than when a timetable says so. The chauffeur tracks the flight number, so a delayed landing does not cost you the booking, and waiting time after touchdown is included.
It costs more than a shared seat. It is worth it when you are four or more, when you are travelling with a pushchair and car seats, when you land late at night, or when the day has already been long enough.
| Private transfer | Magical Shuttle | Disneyland Paris Express | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Departs from | Any airport, station or address | CDG and Orly | Central Paris only |
| Departure time | When you land | Fixed timetable | Fixed timetable |

| Best for | Families, groups, late arrivals | Budget travellers, light luggage | Visitors already in Paris |
Timetables and fares for the coach services change with the season — check the operator's own site before booking. What does not change is the structure: fixed departures and shared vehicles on one side, your own car on the other.
